Description:

This 3-Day Instructor-Led course is intended for personnel responsible for day-to-day administration and management of CommVault Simpana software.  The course covers essential concepts, details, options, and best practices for user security and management, system settings, policy configuration and use, media and library management, job activity and status monitoring, and job management.  Students also learn how to efficiently and effectively manage data movement (backup, archive, auxiliary copy, and restore) within a CommCell group.

Target Audience:

IT Managers and key personnel with responsibility for management, configuration and day-to-day operation of CommVault Simpana software.  Additionally, any person planning to take other CommVault Courses should first attend this course to achieve a required level of core knowledge essential to understanding advanced material presented in other CommVault courses.

Pre-requisites

Attendees require an Administration level of understanding of Window 2000/2003 Server.
